| This time, NAITAS invaded the Bicol Region!
On November 21, the team reached Legazpi City Airport, via Philippine Airlines then scooted off to Lignion Hills for our morning snacks with special thanks to Mayor Noel Rosal of Legazpi City. The food was complemented with a great view of the Mayon Volcano. We were in for a pleasant surprise when Mayor Rosal let us ride the ATVs to journey to the foot of the Mayon. Everyone had fun inspite of the muddy and rocky terrain.
After touring Legazpi City, NAITAS members checked in at the luxurious Venetia Hotel where the staff was so accommodating, by the way. Then it was off to Misibis Bay Raintree for a sumptuous lunch. After the meal, the beach was so inviting that we could not resist going for a swim and we had a blast trying out watersports.
On the second day of our Familiarization Tour, we explored Naga City this time and after the guided tour, lunch was sponsored by our friends from the Department of Tourism Region 5. The rest of the afternon was spent in a relaxing mood with some NAITAS members getting a massage while some went for another swim. Some took the oportunity to learn wake and kneeboarding at the CamSur Watersports Complex. Thanks to Governor Elray Villafuerte who provided transfers from Legaspi to Naga and back, aside from the wonderful dinner we had later that evening.
All in all, NAITAS members had a fantastic time at the Legazpi Naga Familiarization Trip.
