| NAITAS officially started the year right with their 1st GMBM held last January 28 at the Hyatt Hotel in Manila.
Around 180 members attended the meeting, with some of them who still came from Pampanga, Calabarzon, Baguio, Rizal, Lipi, Cavite, Quezon, Batangas, Calamba and other provinces.
The meeting took on a serious note because of the discussion about the NAITAS bylaws and ammendment processes, where members expressed their concerns and provided input.
The Tourism Congress was also part of the meeting's agenda, where the Baguio Chapter President Miss Cathy Dela Rosa, explained the event and its latest developments, including the new set-up of the tourism office.
A sumptous lunch followed as Mr. Roy Ayo of 305 Travel serenaded everyone with songs.
The meeting's major sponsor, Philippine Airlines, lightened up things when their team gave an entertaining dance number promoting their new destinations Riyad and Brisbane. Miss Joh Villacorta also gave updates on what's new with PAL aside from giving away gift packs to the attendees.
More good news for NAITAS: 18 more industry partners joined TRAMEX and even provided prizes for the raffle during the event. Prizes include roundtrip business class tickets to any regional destinations and 2 roundtrip tickets to any domestic destination courtesy of PAL.
