| Despite the rainshowers, there were no complaints from the members and officers of NAITAS who did not miss the opportunity to tour the unspoiled Province of Quezon.
On March 12, the team went on a familiarization trip to the province (famous for Longganisang Lucban, by the way) organized by the Quezon Tourism Council and through Miss Raquel Dator, who is also a NAITAS member under the Calabarzon Chapter.
The trip started off in Lucban where we stopped by the Lucban Church which is more than 400 years old.
Then it was off to an occular visit at Patio Rizal, a very nice boutique hotel near the plaza, followed by a short visit to Batis Aramin which can serve as a venue for family or barkada outings and team buildings.
Time to recharge with our first snack of the day at the Kamayan sa Palaisdaan, a nice floating restaurant offering a wide array of seafood dishes. Aside from dining, they also have a hotel with "themed rooms" designed and inspired by the beautiful places in the world like Paris, Boston, Persia, Madrid and more.
Lunch was next at SM Lucena where we were invited to a Quezonaria Food Festival. We were treated to different kinds of sumptuous local dishes only found in Quezon.
After the meal we proceeded to Villa Escudero in San Pablo where we had a look at the beautiful museum and the famous man made waterfalls where their guests stay to have lunch.
It was a great Quezon experience despite the gloomy weather but we would also like to thank our 2 police escorts who took the time to make us feel like VIPs as they literally made traffic stop for our tour bus to escape the heavy traffic going in and around the towns.
