| NAITAS' next stop was in... Malaysia!
It was a busy but productive trip for NAITAS Members who recently went to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia last August 21 to the 24th.
The group left the country and arrived at Kuala Lumpur right on time thanks to Malaysia Airlines.
After a warm welcome, they were able to chat with the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board Assistant director Miss Siti Hadijah Arifin and Tourism officer Mohd Hedzri Mohd Sobbri, GM of Melia Hotel, Mr. Arno Thony, Senior Sales Manager of Melia Hotel Stanley Chang, Crowne Plaza Business Dev Manager Mr. Bernard Loo, Sales Manager of Berjaya Hotel, Stacy Lee, Assistant Manager of The Legend Hotel, Mr. Arikrishnan, Park Royal Sales Manager, Izuddin Elias, Pacific Regency Hotel Suites Assistant Director of Sales, Joeanne Low, Senior Sales Coordinator of Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, Reliance Sightseeing VP, Mr. KC, Reiko the Senior Sales Support Officer and Chee Kin, Sales and Operations Manager.
After forging business relationships with hotels, resorts and travel operators in the country, the group also had fun with this familiarization trip around Malaysia. The participants visited Genting and enjoyed the breath taking cable car ride, not to mention the glorious shopping spree at the famous Suriya Mall right by the equally famous Petronas Tower.
The trip proved to be successful as NAITAS is now in the process of forming a consortium for Malaysia with Vacation Asia and Malaysia Airlines as our partners.
